Cincinnati interior designer A. Maris Bernard unveiled her new “environmentally eclectic office” at Art Design Consultants April 14 Design Star showcase. Her concept brings together re-purposed products, reclaimed materials and energy efficiency to achieve a space that is explorative, experimental and expressive of the way entrepreneurs operate in today’s world. Based on the zero office concept, A. Maris’ workspace merges the portability of technology and the need for an environment that stimulates creativity.
Attended by over 125 guests, including RJE’s Lisa Barngrove, DIGS designer Brian Gibson and Sylvia Rombis of Malton Art Gallery, this impressive event raises the barre for eco-office living and the integration of quality lighting, states Drew Dearwester, co-owner, Switch Lighting & Design.
