SKYDROA cluster of reflective biomorphic pebbles… rolling amorphic beads of silver mercury… pockets of air bubbles suspended in a space devoid of water. No matter how you look at it Skydro is a stunning, visual feat that reinvents and reinterprets the idea of reflected light. The molded thermoplastic shapes are finished in polished chrome and are available in electrified and non-electrified versions. A pebble emitting an upward light source is integrated below the configuration in the lighted series. The unlit option relies on its sculptural form to capture and rebound light from surrounding light sources- whether natural or switched.
