Switch Lighting & Design is dedicated to the idea that light has a unique power to liven the senses and elevate the spirit. Lighting is a modern art that must be part of everyday living in our homes and public spaces.
Our lighting showroom in downtown Cincinnati was “switched on” in 2008 by Drew Dearwester and Bertie Ray III. They now serve clients from around the region and in cities from New York to San Francisco.
Switch has a special interest in fresh contemporary lighting from Scandinavia, Europe, and Asia. Our showroom has key pieces from Fontana Arte, Fabbian, Leucos, LZF, Tango, Edge Lighting, and Estiluz. We also carry premium commercial lighting by Zaneen, BEGA, Focal Point, Lightolier, and other popular companies. You’ll see the products we carry featured in publications like InStyle, Dwell, Wallpaper, and the Wall Street Journal, and on lifestyle television shows like HGTV and Fine Living.
In addition to high-end residential customers, we supply professional offices, restaurants and cafes, retail spaces, schools and municipal facilities, and historic sites. Recent projects include Cincinnati’s historic Mercantile Library and the city’s new Senate Restaurant, residences in Daniel Libeskind’s breathtaking The Ascent at Roebling Bridge, and the FAA William Hughes Technical Center in New Jersey, “the world’s premier aviation research, development and test facility.”
We make doing business with Switch easy. Our lighting professionals are glad to visit your home, office, or job site to see the space in three dimensions and make suggestions. Then we follow through until your lights are in place. If we suggest it and it doesn’t fit, we work until it’s right. If it doesn’t work, we take it back — no questions asked.
