The brand
Ceramic, shaped by hand and glazed in color.
Ferroluce was founded in 1982 by Valter and Miriam Valentinuz in Italy’s Friuli region, and the family still runs it. It began with wrought-iron ceiling lamps, then moved to ceramic in 1991, the material it now uses for everything it makes.
Each lamp is made one at a time through what Ferroluce calls Slow Manufacturing, so small variations in shape and glaze are part of the design. We bring it in for clients who want color and character, from a café pendant to a bedside lamp, and a wall of it is on display in our showroom.
Decò
Decò is Ferroluce’s most contemporary line: rounded, stacked and strongly colored ceramic forms in pendants, wall lights and table lamps.
It’s the collection to look at when you want the lamp to be the color in the room.
Retrò
Launched in 2015, Retrò takes its cues from old factory lighting: dome shades, exposed bulbs and utilitarian shapes, reinterpreted in glazed ceramic.
It suits lofts, kitchens and restaurants, singly or in a row.

Our display shows the range of shapes and glazes in person. Ceramic color is hard to judge on screen, so come see them lit. Then we’ll help you choose the shape, color and size, and handle the order from Italy.
