Uplight Group
Handmade European lighting, curated in Miami. Now in our window on East 6th Street, Cincinnati.
The brand
Light you notice even when it's switched off.
Uplight Group is a Miami-based studio that brings handmade lighting from European designers to American homes and hospitality projects. Its pieces are made by hand in Spain and Italy and adapted to U.S. electrical standards.
At Switch, you can see them lit in our window, compare sizes and colors in person, and order any piece from the full Uplight catalog.
Blossom
Strips of French velvet, shaped by hand in Spain around a central diffuser. Lit, warm light slips out between the ribs in soft lines. Unlit, the form reads as sculpture.
Blossom comes as table lamps and pendants, up to the statement-scale Blossom XL that hangs in our window.
Moon
Made by hand in Italy from Nebulite®, a fabric of resin and fiberglass. Lit from within, the surface shows the faint shadows and markings of a full moon.
Small enough for a bedside table or large enough to anchor a room, in sizes from 7 to 47 inches across, for the table or the floor.
